Black Night Scar is scheduled for 25 November 2025 at the Hare and Hounds Pub, Burnley Road, Todmorden OL14 8EA. The race is organised by Turnslack Fell Race. Course and equipment

The race is a Category AS fell race with a course described as 5.8 km distance and 315 m ascent. The start is described as opposite Stoney Royd Lane on the track to Sourhall. Head torches are compulsory. Competitors are asked to bring full FRA kit: waterproof jacket (with hood), waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, compass, whistle, map and emergency food.
