The Turnslack Fell Race is a category BM fell race located in Calderbrook, near Summit. The course covers a distance of 12.9 km and includes a total ascent of 610 m. The event is open to participants who are at least 18 years old on the day of the race.

Race headquarters are situated at Calderbrook Community Church. Parking for the event is available at the Stansfield Estate Playing Fields, and organizers encourage participants to share vehicles where possible. While the final kit requirements will be confirmed on the day of the race, participants are advised to bring full Fell Runners Association (FRA) kit.

The race features a competitive element with team prizes awarded. For the men's category, the first four finishers from a team count toward the prize, while for the women's category, the first three finishers count. Following the completion of the race, refreshments and the prize giving ceremony take place in the Community Rooms at the church.
