Bamford Carnival

The Bamford Carnival Fell Race is a popular summer event in the Peak District, attracting over 200 runners of all abilities. The race covers 7.2 km with a 320-meter ascent, starting and finishing at Bamford Recreation Ground. Participants run a challenging route that includes a climb to Win Hill, followed by a twisty descent through gorse bushes and various paths.
The event is open to those aged 16 and above, with online entries available. It is licensed by the FRA under UKA Rules and features a friendly atmosphere, catering to both elite athletes and local runners seeking achievement.
