The Bamford Carnival Fell Race is a traditional summer running event held in the Peak District, starting and finishing at Bamford Recreation Ground in Derbyshire. The race covers a challenging 7.2 km (4.5 miles) circular route with a 320-meter ascent, taking runners from the recreation ground to the summit of Win Hill and back. The course is well-marked and mostly on footpaths, featuring a direct route with a twisty descent through gorse bushes, suitable for both novice and experienced fell runners.
