Event Information

The Rothwell Kebabathon is a trail running event. It starts at Skelton Lake Services, an eco-friendly motorway service station off the M1. Participants have access to its facilities, and a donation is made to the RSPB for each runner.

Course Description

The course begins behind the service station and enters Rothwell Country Park. The terrain includes woodland, riverside paths, grass trails, and some road sections. There is one undulation that offers a view of Leeds City Centre. The total cut-off time for the event is 6.5 hours.

On-Course Support and Finish

Water and feed stations are located approximately every 3 miles. The event encourages participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle as it aims to be cupless. Marshals will be present on the course. At the finish, participants receive a bespoke medal, kebabs, and hot or cold drinks.

The event takes place at Leeds Skelton Lake Services. Free parking is available, and car sharing is encouraged. Registration opens at 07:30.

Participant Guidelines
