PFW Running - World Diabetes Day Run takes place on Friday, 14 November 2025 in Stanley Park, W Park Drive, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY3 9EQ. The event marks World Diabetes Day and all profits will be donated to Breakthrough T1D. The event is held under UKA rules and will run with a Trail Running Association Race Permit number to be announced. Maximum entrants: 100. Entries close 13/11/2025. Minimum age: 18 years. Age restrictions: ages 18-19 may race up to a marathon distance; those over 20 have no maximum distance. Refunds are not permitted. Race deferrals and transfers are allowed up to one week before the event date. Entry fees: Affiliated £23.50, Unattached £25.50.
Course and race format
The course is a 3.1 mile loop on mostly flat tarmac with a short section on gravel. The event is a 6 hour timed event; participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within that time. Specific multi-distance formats described by the organiser:
- Half marathon - 4 laps plus a short out and back
- Marathon - 8 laps plus a short out and back
- Ultra - 9 or more laps
Completing at least one lap qualifies a participant as a finisher and earns an official time, a post-race gift, and a medal. Drinks and sweet and savoury snacks will be provided during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
