Entries, rules and support

Pre-entry is available via SiEntries from 01 August until 31 October; the pre-entry fee is £16.00. Entry on the day is allowed if the 450-entry limit has not been reached; the entry-on-day fee is £25.00. Team prizes are allowed: men's teams score 4 to count and women's teams score 3 to count, with one men's and one women's team prize per club. The race holds a Permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.

There is a 1 hour 45 minute cut-off at CP4. A second cut-off may be introduced at CP6 in 2026; details are to be confirmed. A head count will be held at the gateway to the lane 30 m from the village hall. Access to the lane is not permitted and participants must not pass the gate. Organisers request car sharing.
