Tweed Valley Ultra
The Tweed Valley Ultra is a multi-terrain trail event based at Glentress Peel Visitor Centre near Peebles. It is scheduled for Sunday 15 November 2026 and offers two route options.

Both routes follow forest trails, multi-user riverside paths and short road sections through the Tweed Valley. The course uses extensive single track and multi-use trails along the river Tweed, climbs to open moorland on Minch Moor (approximate high point 520 m) and includes sections of the Southern Upland Way and Cross Borders Drove Road. Routes are fully waymarked so navigation experience is not required; GPX files and navigational devices are permitted as backup.
Aid stations and support are provided on course: three stations on the longer route and two on the 50 km. Specific aid station locations include Traquair Village Hall, Glenkinnon FC car park (longer route only) and Innerleithen FC car park. Drop bags are available and are transported to the appropriate checkpoints.
Entry details: early bird entry and standard entry fees are listed, entries close Monday 9 November, and minimum age is 20 years. Registration is based at Glentress Peel café and is available the day before and the morning of the event.
