Course and logistics

Both routes start and finish at the Peel Centre Trailhead. The routes are fully marked, so prior navigation experience is not required; GPX files are provided as a backup. Participants must carry mandatory kit due to open moorland and winter conditions. The course surface is mostly bitmac (tarmac/asphalt) with trails and multi-user sections.

65k: ascent 1,574 m, descent 1,577 m, time limit 11 hrs; route mix includes trail, road and multi-user trail.
50k: ascent 1,145 m, descent 1,143 m, time limit 9 hrs; route mix includes trail, road and multi-user trail.

Aid stations: three on the 65k and two on the 50k. Drop bags are transported to CP3 (65k) and Innerleithen (CP4 for 50k). The routes split after Minch Moor, allowing participants to drop to the 50k during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
