A community 5 km off-road fun run and walk on Therfield Heath, Royston, held to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. The undulating course is two laps over grass and trails and entry is limited.

Aldbury 5 is an off road race of 5.3 miles around Ashridge Woods in Albury on 28 June 2026, organised by Aldbury Sports Club with a donation from each entry to the National Trust. Entry fees differ for affiliated and non affiliated runners.

A team relay along The Ridgeway national trail covering 86.5 miles from Ivinghoe Beacon to Overton Hill near Marlborough. Ten legs traverse off road hilly terrain, with specific gender leg rules and teams providing their own support.

A guided 10 km trail run at High Lodge in Thetford Forest on 28 June 2026, led at a conversational pace with groups set by ability; entry costs £12.50 and parking is charged at £4.

A community running day at Bromyard Rugby Club featuring a chip timed 10 km, a junior 2 km for ages 4 to 15, and a non competitive fun run, with marshals, on site vendors, first aid and event insurance.

The Bakewell Pudding Race on 28.06.26 in the Peak District offers adult and junior fell races, fun runs and a little kids fun run at the Recreation Ground in Bakewell, with an FRA permit and UK Athletics insurance.

July 2026

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

Race 2 of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km event through Happy Valley in Bramhall, with limited online entries and proceeds donated to Stockport Foodbank. UKA members receive a discount and series entries are available.

A series of four two hour score races around Hartington in the Peak District using the MapRun app. Competitors choose their own route, score points at 40 controls and incur time penalties; printed maps and a PDF option are offered.

A 4 miles hill race around Winster on 2 July 2026 through lanes, trails and fields with marshals and partial tape marking. Online pre-entry is £5, on the night entry is £8 and entries are limited to 200.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.

A point-to-point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham, run in seeded time trial waves. The course features a 360 metre tunnel and floating drink stations on canal barges every three miles.

July the Turd is a run offering 8 miles, 16 miles and a full marathon around the Ironbridge valley. The route mixes tracks, paths and road and the event finishes at The Unicorn Inn with parking on site and finisher bling.
