The NOTFAST Ponton Plod 2026

The NOTFAST Ponton Plod is a scenic trail event based in Great Ponton, near Grantham. The 2026 edition marks the 40th anniversary of the NOTFAST Running Club. Participants navigate through Lincolnshire villages, utilizing a combination of footpaths, bridleways, tracks, and quiet country roads that lead toward the Vale of Belvoir.

The event offers several distances to accommodate different preferences:

  • 17 miles
  • 12 miles
  • 10 km

All participants have a time limit of 10 hours to complete their chosen route. The event is organized as a charity challenge, with proceeds supporting selected causes. The routes are covered by OS Explorer Map 247.

Registration takes place at the Great Ponton Village Centre, where ample field parking is provided close to the start line. The entry fee includes refreshments at various checkpoints along the course, as well as a meal including food and pudding at the finish line. The event is supported by marshals stationed throughout the routes.
