The NOTFAST Ponton Plod 2026

The NOTFAST Ponton Plod is a countryside trail event held in Great Ponton Village Centre near Grantham. Routes run from the village through picturesque Lincolnshire villages and toward the Vale of Belvoir, following footpaths, bridleways, tracks and quiet country roads. The event is the NOTFAST RC 40th anniversary edition and is organised as a charity challenge. The specific charity beneficiaries for 2026 will be confirmed and published by the organisers.

Participants choose from multiple distances and must complete their chosen route within ten hours. Refreshments are provided at checkpoints and finishers are offered hearty food and pudding. Marshals staff the course and checkpoints. OS Explorer Map 247 covers the routes and the organiser gives a grid reference of SK926304 for the event. There is ample field parking near the village centre.

Entry fees vary by distance, with the published fees showing a range from £12 for the 10 km option to £24 for the 26.4 mile route. The event materials note homemade food and village hospitality as part of the on-course and finish arrangements. Practical details such as the event disclaimer, cancellation and refund policy, and how to enter are published by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
