Northants 5K Series - Brigstock

Race 4 Northants 5K Series, Fermyn Woods Country Park

Race 4 of the Northants 5K Series takes place at Fermyn Woods Country Park in Brigstock, Kettering. The series races are multi-terrain and run through parks and woodlands; this event is held in an ancient woodland south of Corby.

The event distance is 5 km. Finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal that differs at each race in the series. A virtual entry option is available for those who cannot attend in person; virtual finishers receive the medal by post when they are signed up to the race.

Entry fees are listed as £15.00 for affiliated runners and £17.00 otherwise, plus a non-refundable booking fee of £1.50. Entries close at 23:59 on Tuesday 7 July 2026 for the race on Wednesday 8 July 2026. The event has a zero refund policy but offers a provision to defer an entry to another race if this is done before bookings close by contacting the organisers.

Minimum age is 11 years; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Car parking at Fermyn Woods is limited, payment for parking is taken in advance, and parking at the country park is £3.50. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport event hub before race day.

Race packs and race numbers are collected on race day at the red Nsport gazebo. A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Toilet facilities are available and the park cafe will be open before and after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
