Northants 5K Series - Race 4 at Fermyn Woods Country Park

Race 4 of the Northants 5K Series takes place at Fermyn Woods Country Park in Brigstock, Kettering NN14 3HS on Wednesday 8th July. The event is a multi‑terrain 5 km course that uses parkland and woodland paths within the country park, which is described as an ancient woodland set just south of Corby.

All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal; each race in the series has a different medal to collect. Runners who cannot attend in person may complete the race virtually and receive the medal by post, provided they are signed up to that race.

Entry fees are shown as £15.00 or £17.00 with a non refundable booking fee of £1.50; the lower fee applies to runners affiliated to UKA. Entries open at 08:00 on 16th February. The minimum age for entry is 11 years; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant.

Car parking at Fermyn Woods is limited and will be paid for in advance; the park parking charge is £3.50. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport event hub before race day. Race packs and race numbers are collected on race day at the event gazebo. A mobile medical crew will be on standby and toilet facilities are available at the park. Organisers operate a zero refund policy but allow entry deferrals before bookings close. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
