The Foxton Hound Ultra is a trail running event on Saturday 15 August 2026. It is based at Winwick Hall near Market Harborough and follows large parts of the Harborough Round long-distance footpath through Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. The event is held under UK Athletics rules and carries a TRA race licence.

Routes and navigation
Both routes use footpaths and trails and include varied terrain with some elevation changes. The course passes through villages and landmarks such as Houghton on the Hill, West Haddon, Coton, Stoke Albany, Foxton Locks, Naseby Battlefield, and the Kelmarsh Tunnel on the Brampton Valley Way. GPX files and written route instructions are provided for both distances. The organiser expects runners to be able to self-navigate.
Support and checkpoints
The 100 km route has 7 checkpoints/aid stations; the 50 km route has 3. Aid stations offer fruit, crackers, crisps, biscuits, sweets/chocolate, Tailwind, water and Coke, with vegetarian/vegan options. Hot pasta is provided at Checkpoint 4 and soup and hot drinks at Checkpoint 7 on the 100 km course. Professional first aid is available at race headquarters with course access.
Entries, rules and kit
Entry fees are listed as £75 for the 100 km and £50 for the 50 km. Minimum entry age is 20 on race day. The 100 km cut-off is 18 hours with progressive checkpoint cut-offs; the 50 km cut-off is 9 hours. Pacers are permitted on the 100 km from Checkpoint 5. Mandatory kit includes a charged mobile phone, 1 litre water capacity, survival blanket, head torch with spare batteries, waterproof jacket, whistle, long-sleeved layer, personal cup, and reflective top/bands, with hat and gloves required for the 100 km.
