Dunstable Downs Challenge Half Marathon

The Dunstable Downs Challenge Half Marathon is organised by Dunstable Road Runners and takes place from Creasey Park Community Football Centre in Dunstable. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association, reference number 7917, and is run under UK Athletics Rules. Members of affiliated clubs can receive a £2 discount by selecting affiliated and entering their club name; they do not need to provide an EA or WA number for this discount.

The route starts at Creasey Park and proceeds onto the Dunstable Downs. The run follows mainly public footpaths and bridleways with occasional sections on quiet country lanes. The course is self navigated, with checkpoints and guide runners at target paces. A GPX file is available and its use is encouraged.

Facilities at the event include a finisher medal, ample toilets and changing areas, hot and cold refreshments for purchase, supervised baggage drop, drinks stations on the course and at the finish, medical provision and car parking. Registration opens at 07:30 and closes at 08:45 for race number collection. Entries are accepted on the day subject to availability with payment by cash or online; the on the day price is £30.
