The Bradenham Blast takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026 and offers three trail distances:

  • Half Marathon (21.1km)

Routes run through beech woodland and across the Bradenham Estate in the Chiltern Hills, which is an arable nature reserve. The course is hilly: the half marathon has six climbs and about 413 m total elevation gain, the 10km has four climbs and about 251 m gain, and the 5km has one climb and about 109 m gain. The 10km includes an aid station at approximately 4.9 km. Routes are fully marked but may be altered for safety and can run a little short or long.

Practical information

Race entries include a first aid post, free professional photography, a finisher eco-medal, and a tree planted on behalf of the participant. The event is permitted through the Trail Running Association, permit number 7305. Age limits: 5km minimum age 12, 10km minimum age 16, half marathon minimum age 17. No dogs are allowed under UKA rules. Trail shoes are recommended. Headphones are permitted only if participants can hear marshals and other runners. No refunds are offered; the organiser may cancel or reschedule for weather or other factors and advises taking cancellation insurance. The venue is Manor Farm, Bradenham, High Wycombe HP14 4HF, a short distance off the A4010. Saunderton train station is about a 25-minute walk; a bus stop (The Red Lion PH) is served by the X30 and 130 routes. Team scoring: first three team runners score for each distance.
