Petzl Night Trails 10k - Coombe Abbey Park

Petzl Night Trails is a trail 10k held at Coombe Abbey Park, CV3 2AB in Coventry on 30 September 2026. The event takes place after daylight and participants must use a head or chest torch to run. Petzl may attend with demo lamps for testers on the night.

The route runs through woodland, meadow and grass fields. Surfaces can be muddy, firm or rock hard depending on recent weather. Runners should expect exposed tree roots, uneven ground and a few gates. The course is undulating but not hilly. Measured distance is intended to be 10 km though GPS devices may show small variations.

Dogs are not permitted because of a narrow out and back section on the course. There will be biodegradable cups with water or electrolyte on the course; runners may bring a collapsible cup but it is not required for this event. The medical cut off is effectively two hours.

Practical information includes a toilet block next to the event HQ, parking that can cost up to £3 for 1 to 2 hours, and proximity to Junction 2 of the M6 and Coventry train station. Entry fees follow a tiered structure with specified prices before and after 30 August 2026 and an additional fee for unaffiliated entrants. Optional charitable donations to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity are offered during entry. A tree token is available as an alternative to a medal.
