Winwick Hall Trail Races take place on 19 July 2026 at Winwick Hall, Winwick, Northants (NN6 7PD). The event includes fully marked and marshaled trail races on the Winwick Hall estate across mixed terrain, including grassland, country paths and some hard-packed trails, with hills and descents. Routes start and finish at Winwick Hall.

Distances and entry

  • 10k - £20; minimum age 16
  • 5k - £15; minimum age 12
  • 2k (children) - £8; minimum age 4; adults may accompany children

Entries close seven days before the event.

Support and facilities

Professional first aid will be based at the start and finish with access to the course. Volunteers will provide on-course support and a water station at the halfway point of the 10k; water will also be available at the finish. Runners are required to bring their own cup or water bottle as the event is cupless. Trail shoes are recommended if there has been rain; road shoes may suffice on dry ground. There is parking at Winwick Hall. The Polo Pavilion Tea Room will be open serving hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes and snacks.

Prizes and charity

All finishers receive a specially commissioned race medal. Free digital race photos will be available after the event. A proportion of entry fees is donated to the Bruce Green Foundation, a charity founded in 2018 working with young people under 21 in Northamptonshire.
