Winwick Hall Trail Races

The event takes place at Winwick Hall, Winwick, Northamptonshire NN6 7PD. Races are fully marked and marshaled and use the trails on and around the Winwick Hall Estate. The routes include a mixture of terrain such as grassland, country paths and hard-packed trails, and feature some hills and descents. A children’s fun run is provided for younger participants.

Adults may accompany a child in the 2k event. Dogs are not permitted on the routes.

Logistics and support

Race HQ, start and finish are based at Winwick Hall. There is plenty of parking on site and the Polo Pavilion Tea Room will be open serving hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes. On-course support includes professional first aid at the start and finish with the ability to access runners on the course. Volunteers will staff a water station on the 10k route at approximately halfway, and water will be available at the finish. The event operates a cupless policy, so participants should bring a cup or water bottle. Trail shoes are recommended if the ground has been wet. All finishers receive a specially commissioned race medal. Entry prices and minimum ages are published for the event, and entries close seven days before the event.
