The Winwick Hall Trail Races take place on Sunday 19th July 2026 at Winwick Hall, Winwick, Northants NN6 7PD. The event includes the following distances:

  • 10k
  • 5k
  • 2k children’s race for ages 4-12

All races start and finish at Winwick Hall and are fully marked and marshaled. The races are run in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation, with a proportion of entry fees donated to the charity.

Details

The 5k and 10k routes use a mixture of terrain, including grassland, country paths and some hard-packed trails, with hills and descents. The 2k event is a children’s fun run; adults may accompany their child in this race. Minimum ages are 16 for the 10k, 12 for the 5k, and 4 for the 2k. Entries are priced at £20 for the 10k, £15 for the 5k, and £8 for the 2k, and entry transfers close seven days before the event. Dogs are not permitted on the course. There is ample parking at Winwick Hall. On-course support includes professional first aid at the start and finish, volunteers, a water station on the 10k route (halfway) and water at the finish. The event is cupless, so participants must bring a cup or water bottle. Trail shoes are advisable if conditions are wet. All finishers receive a race medal.
