Clipston Trail Half and Country 5 Mile
The Clipston Trail Races include a half marathon and a country 5 mile event around Clipston and the surrounding Northamptonshire countryside. The event is organised with the Clipston Recreation Field Trust and funds raised are used for maintenance and development of the village playing fields and facilities, including eventual replacement of the tennis courts.

The course starts opposite the pavilion in Clipston and immediately climbs into the countryside. The route follows bridleways with short sections on minor country roads; the final section from Kelmarsh back to Clipston is on a footpath. The half marathon route gains a total of 237 m in height and offers rural views across the county.
Entry fees are listed as £25.00 for the half marathon and £18.00 for the 5 mile race. Competitors must be at least 17 on the day of the race. Entries made before the end of 2025 will be entered into a draw to win a TrailKube.
There are medals and homemade cakes for all finishers, with cakes prepared by Clipston W.I. Runners are asked to bring a personal cup for water stations; there are four water stations on the half marathon and one on the 5 mile route. Free parking is available on site and in the adjacent field. The course crosses working farms and is not suitable for canicross. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
