The course sets off from opposite the pavilion and immediately rises into the surrounding countryside. A route map and GPX file are available.

Entry fees are shown as £25.00 for the Half Marathon and £18.00 for the Country 5 Miler. Competitors must be at least 17 on the day. Entries made before the end of 2025 are entered into a draw for a TrailKube. Online entries close the Wednesday before the race and transfers close the Sunday before the race.

Numbers and timing chips are available for collection on race morning; packs will not be posted. There are four water stations on the half marathon route and one on the 5 miler; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup. Medals and homemade cakes are provided for all finishers.
