Hoby Hop Trail Race 10th anniversary special

The Hoby Hop Trail Race marks its 10th year as a five mile, chip timed cross country and Canicross event across the Upper Wreake valley. The route runs through fields, stiles, brooks and traditional footpaths and includes some hill sections and views over Leicestershire and beyond.

Race headquarters are at Hoby & District village hall and will be open on race day for bag storage, toilet facilities, number collection and on the day entries if places remain available. Car parking is provided on Church Field, Thrussington Road, Hoby (postcode LE14 3EB) with event day parking arrangements in place.

Other specifics include a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 12 years. Online entries close on 30/09/2026. Race entry transfers remain open until the evening before race day; deferrals are permitted if organisers are informed at least 24 hours before race day or, in emergencies, one hour before each race.
