Hoby Hop Trail Race 10th anniversary special
This event is the tenth edition of a five mile chip timed cross country and Canicross race held across the Upper Wreake valley. The course runs over fields, stiles, brooks and traditional footpaths and includes some hills and open views over Leicestershire and beyond.
Race headquarters are at Hoby & District village hall, where bag storage, toilet facilities and number collection are provided and on-the-day entries may be possible if places remain. Car parking is on the church field on Thrussington Road, Hoby LE14 3EB.

Additional details: the event is limited to 200 entrants and the minimum age is 12 years. Entries close on 30/09/2026. Entry fees listed are £15.00 for each five mile race. Transfers are allowed up to the evening before race day and deferrals are permitted if organisers are notified at least 24 hours before race day or, in emergencies, up to one hour before each race.
Prizes are awarded for top finishers in multiple categories and for course record performances; all finishers receive a 10th anniversary commemorative wooden medal.
