Hoby Hop Trail Race : 10th anniversary

The event is a ten-year anniversary five-mile chip timed cross country and Canicross race held in the Upper Wreake valley. The course runs across farmland and traditional footpaths and includes fields, stiles, brooks and some hills, with views over Leicestershire and beyond. The route is described as undulating cross country terrain.

Race headquarters are at Hoby & District village hall, where bag storage, toilet facilities and number collection are provided. Car parking is arranged on the church field on Thrussington Road, Hoby (LE14 3EB).

Additional event information: entries are limited to a maximum of 200 participants and minimum age to enter is 12 years. Online entries close on 30/09/2026; on-the-day entries may be available if the event is not sold out, with availability confirmed after online entries close three days before race day. Race transfers are accepted until the evening before the event. Deferrals are permitted if organisers are informed at least 24 hours before race day; emergency exceptions may be considered.

A *7.5 km* mixed terrain race through the Derbyshire Dales starting and finishing at the Bell & Harp pub in Little Eaton on 18 July 2026. Chip timing, category prizes and an on site afterparty with music and food.

A single lap 10 km trail run through historic Garendon Park near Loughborough on 26 July 2026. The licensed, chip timed event includes water stations, marshals, finisher T shirt and prize categories.

Trail run with music around Calke Abbey, meeting at Ticknall Village Hall Car Park. Free entry and parking, a roughly 8 km route within a 90 minute session, organised by Run 4 U & Perform Running Club.
