Robin Hood 100
North Wheatley, United Kingdom • 12 Sep 2026
Event overview
The Robin Hood 100 is a trail ultramarathon organised by HOBO Pace. The race distance is 100 Miles and the event is held every other year, with the next edition in September 2026. The maximum entry is 150 runners. Entry closes three weeks before the event or once full and there is no entry on the day. Entrants must be over 20 years of age. The overall cut-off to finish is 30 hours. Organisers use cut-off times based on an 18-minute-per-mile average and may withdraw runners who fall behind schedule. A main non-negotiable cut-off is enforced at Aid Station 3 on the return lap to ensure there is time to complete the remaining 16 miles within the 30-hour limit.
Course, support and logistics
The route starts and finishes at South Wheatley Village Hall and follows the Chesterfield Canal towpath into Worksop before entering Sherwood Forest. The race includes two 30-mile loops within the forest and passes Creswell Crags, the Welbeck Estate, Clumber Park, the Thoresby Estate and the Major Oak. The course is fully marked with tape and arrows; marshals and first aid medics staff the aid stations. Aid stations are described as regular and well stocked. Drop bags are allowed and located at Aid Station 4, accessible at about 51.8M and 81.4M. Pacers are permitted from roughly the 50-mile point, one pacer at a time, and must not carry the runner’s equipment. Crew is allowed. Trackers will not be used; runners are recorded at aid stations. Parking at the hall and a nearby farmyard is limited. The nearest mainline stations are Retford and Gainsborough, each about 10 to 15 minutes away by car. All HOBO Pace event food is fully vegan.
