Robin Hood 100

Robin Hood 100 is a fully marked ultra held on 12 to 13 September 2026 with registration, start and finish at South Wheatley Village Hall, Sturton Road, Retford, Notts, DN22 9DH. The event is organised by HOBO Pace and has an entry fee of £164. The minimum age is 20 and entries close on 21 August 2026.

The route uses runnable, scenic trails with generally good underfoot conditions. It follows the Chesterfield Canal towpath to Clumber Park, joins the Dukeries race route and passes through sandstone villages and historic sites including Creswell Crags, the Welbeck Estate and the Thoresby Estate. The course enters Sherwood Forest for two laps and passes the Major Oak before returning along the towpath to the village hall.

The terrain is relatively flat with only mild undulations and no major climbs. The course record is 15 hours 2 minutes. All HOBO Pace races are fully marked and marshalled. Trackers are not used because of repeated problems in dense forest; runners are accounted for by aid station recording.

Basic refreshment is provided at regular intervals and at the finish. All finishers receive a HOBO Pace Robin Hood medal. T shirts are available to purchase and must be collected in person or by a friend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
