About the race
The Rasselbock Run - Autumn 2026 is a timed six hour challenge on a looped course at Sherwood Pines, a forest managed by the UK Forestry Commission. The event is organised by Rassleback Running and takes place across two days, Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September, at Sherwood Pines in Kings Clipstone, Mansfield, NG21 9JL. Participants may attempt to complete as many laps as possible within the six hour period or choose to finish after a single lap. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Race control is located in the Sparrowhawk Car Park and visitors are asked to use the main car park for parking. The course runs entirely within the forest venue overseen by Forestry England. Information published for the event notes on-site arrangements such as venue access and race registration locations. The format emphasises lap-based running on a looped forest course and a timed total distance determined by how many laps each participant completes during the six hour challenge.
