Trail Running calendar near Launceston 2026-2027

A 7-mile multi-terrain race on the Oakdale plateau that starts and finishes by wind turbines and loops the village of Manmoel. Selected as the second race in the East Wales Road Race Championships, with entry fees for UKA and non-affiliated..

A technical off-road 10 km through woodlands, meadows and river crossings on the Forde Abbey Estate, plus a free Junior 1500 m for primary-age children. Medals for all and prizes for winners; some participant restrictions apply.

A traffic-free, flat 10 km along the River Exe on 26 June 2026, with a new non-competitive Grecian Mile for under 16s. Fundraising options and youth incentives support the trust's community programmes.

A 26.2 mile self-navigation coast path event on 27 June 2026 from Rock to Boscastle, passing Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel, with three manned checkpoints, live GPS tracking, medals for finishers and a nine hour cut off.

An inflatable obstacle-course event at Heath Park Cardiff on 27 June 2026 offering 2.5k 5k 10k and 15k lap-based options, on-course water, onsite facilities and family-friendly entries with charity partners involved.

Hourglass on 27th June 2026 is a last person standing running event of repeated *2 mile* laps around the Royal Cornwall Events Centre. Lap time allowances shrink each circuit and runners are eliminated if they miss the limit.

A timed trail event on a five mile loop at Widemouth Bay, offering 24 hour, 12 hour, 6 hour and a Cub Fun Run over 27 to 28 June 2026, with camping and team entries available.

A 13.5 mile trail half marathon across Lundy Island with a chartered raceboat option for up to 250 runners, two aid stations, mandatory kit requirements and a 3.75 hour time limit.

A coastal running event at Woolacombe on 28 June 2026 offering marathon, half marathon and 10K distances with chip timing, on-course support, a race village with merchandise and fundraising to benefit North Devon Hospice.

A guided Dartmoor trail run of about 10 miles exploring Holne Moor and Ryder's Hill, with an optional swim at Sharrah Pool if conditions allow. Steady-paced, kit recommended includes trail shoes, waterproof and a change of clothes.

July 2026

A roughly 5 mile trail race in Haldon Forest Park near Exeter with water stations, age category prizes, a hillclimb championship and a donation to St Petrock's.

A short Dartmoor fell race of 3.1 miles with 300 m of ascent around Belstone. The unmarked route is marshalled in places and features steep climbs, rough moorland and a fast lumpy descent, finishing on the village green with tea and cakes.
