Burrator Horseshoe and Sheepstor Challenge
The Burrator Horseshoe and Sheepstor Challenge take place on 20 June 2026 alongside the Meavy Oak Fair. The event is organised by South West Fell Runners with support from local clubs and Meavy parish; funds raised support local parish charities.

The route passes Burrator Reservoir, Sheepstor Dam, Sheepstor summit (369 m), Gutter Tor summit (357 m) and Ringmoor Down, and finishes on the village green after a ford crossing. A route change provides a new cut through from Sheepstor Dam to the stile opposite the track to Sheepstor.
