Gecko Gathering - Siblyback Lake 2026

Purple Gecko Events stages the Gecko Gathering at Siblyback Lake in Liskeard on Saturday 13 June 2026. The weekend programme includes multiple loop distances around the lake and an eight hour lap event called the Siblython.

Distances offered include:

  • 2.5 km fun run for younger participants
  • 4.8 km single lap around the lake
  • 9.6 km two laps of the lake

The Siblython is an eight hour endurance event where participants complete as many full 4.8 km laps as they can. All laps must be completed in full to have a distance and time recorded. The event is part of the PGE 5K & 10k Trail Running Championship Series 2026.

Facilities and services noted for the event include on-site camping, an open café, personalised bibs, free race photography and buggy friendly routes. Everyone receives a Siblyback Gecko Gathering 2026 medal and there are awards for top finishers in each distance. Timing is provided by an app service; there will be no chip timing for this event.

Minimum age guidance is given for different parts of the programme, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
