Boscastle Scramble 2026
The Boscastle Scramble is a coastal trail event held on 27 June 2026 that follows the South West Coast Path along North Cornwall from Rock to Boscastle. The route covers a distance of 26.2 Miles and passes through Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel. The course includes steep ascents and descents and three manned checkpoints with fluid and sustenance available.
This is a self-navigation event along the SWCP with checkpoints used to confirm progress. A nine hour cut off applies to finishers. Live GPS tracking will be available for participants. All finishers receive medals, top finishers receive awards, and free race photography is provided.
A new two person team option for 2026 is the Boscastle Soft Boiled Relay. Teams run the same route and use the same checkpoints and cut off structure. Relay entries form a separate category and receive medals with a different ribbon. The Scramble also serves as Stage 3 of The Saints and Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge.
Timing for the event is provided via the ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Optional extras offered for the event include a mini bus return service and race tee availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
