Boscastle Scramble 2026

The Boscastle Scramble is a coastal running event on 27 June 2026 covering 26.2 Miles along the North Cornwall Coast Path from Rock to Boscastle. The route passes Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel and forms Stage 3 of The Saints & Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge.

The course is a self-navigation exercise on the South West Coast Path with manned checkpoints. There are three checkpoints, and organisers provide fluid and sustenance at those locations. The route includes significant ascents and descents and has a nine hour cut off time.

A new Boscastle Soft Boiled Relay is offered for 2026. This is a two person team entry where runner one starts in Boscastle and the team changes at CP2 in Port Isaac. The relay is a separate category and relay runners receive a medal with a different ribbon; the relay follows the same checkpoints and cut offs as the solo event.

Event features include live GPS tracking, medals for all finishers, awards for top finishers and free race photography. Optional extras include mini bus return transport and a race tee. The event is timed by ST App Service and there will be no chip timing. Registration closes 22 June 2026. The event organiser is Purple Gecko Events.
