Forest Flyer

The Forest Flyer is a trail race of approximately 5 miles on forest tracks, paths and fire roads in Haldon Forest Park near Exeter.

Entrants must be 18 years or older. The event is cupless; water is provided at two on-course water stops and at the finish, so participants are expected to use their own bottles or cups. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and the first three female finishers, with additional age-category prizes for male and female V40, V50, V60 and V70. All finishers receive a bespoke memento and a Devondale flapjack.

The event also includes the first Haldon Hillclimb Championship, with trophies for the fastest male and female up the final hill. A donation from race profits will be made to Exeter homelessness charity St Petrock's. Entry fee does not include parking, which is payable on the day. Race-day entries, if available, carry an additional £2 administration fee and will be cash only. Race numbers can be collected on the day from 5pm near the cafe. ARC race permit ARC/26/0651.
