Exmoor Running and Walking Festival

The Exmoor Running and Walking Festival is a weekend event based at the Pinkery Centre for Outdoor Learning in Simonsbath, Somerset. It celebrates travelling on foot across Exmoor National Park and combines long distance walking and trail running with shorter routes and social activities.

Organisers combined the historic Exmoor Perambulation and the Man vs Moor series in 2021 so both events run on the same weekend. The festival uses the long daylight of the summer solstice and aims to gather participants at a single event hub for shared accommodation and evening gatherings.

The 2026 programme includes a mix of activities across Friday to Sunday, guest speakers, evening social gatherings and film screenings. There is an optional sunset swim at Pinkery Pond and a BBQ area for participant use. Locally made solid oak wooden medals are available as an optional extra and must be ordered separately. Entries close eight days before the event at midnight on 12 June 2026. Reported entry fees range from £21.00 to £27.50.
