Tackle classic Lake District terrain at the High Wether Howe fell race on Sat 25 Jul 2026, a 14 km route with 485 m of climb starting and finishing at Stepps Hall. Entry on the day is welcome and proceeds support the Shap community fund.

Tackle the Hameldon Quarry Race on 28 July 2026 in Hapton, Burnley, a lively 6.5 km trail with about 400 m of climb through Bowland terrain. Day entry only, low fees and team categories make it ideal for a spontaneous challenge.

Tackle the Fellrunner at Lee Mill Quarry, a 10km fell race with 332 m climb, offering steep scenic trails and a tough workout. Entry on the day and teams welcome make this a lively opener for the Rossendale mid week series.

Take on the classic Ambleside fell race near Rydal Park, a short but sharp climb to a rocky summit set in Lakeland scenery. Open to seniors and juniors with age categories, this BOFRA counter promises a stiff test of speed and stamina.
