NAV4 Daffodil Run

Pooley Bridge, United Kingdom • 28 Mar 2026

Event Details

The NAV4 Daffodil Run and Walk is a community event first held in 2016 to support local businesses in Pooley Bridge. The main route is an out-and-back course of approximately 13 miles from Pooley Bridge to Hallin Fell and back.

The Route

The course follows trails and paths via The Cockpit and Martindale Church. The terrain includes good trails, some wet sections, a little tarmac, and the open slopes of Hallin Fell. The route is sign-posted and has marshals at key points, making it easy to follow. Participants pass two drink stations twice on the out-and-back journey.

Participation and Start Times

The event uses a timed start window system. Walkers can start anytime between 9:00 and 10:00. Slower or non-competitive runners start between 10:00 and 11:00. Faster runners start between 11:00 and 11:30. There are no starts after 11:30. Walkers and slower runners have the option to do a shorter distance by turning around at The Sitting Stone (approximately 6 miles) or Martindale Church (approximately 10 miles).

Logistics

Registration, the start, and the finish are all at Pooley Bridge Memorial Hall. Electronic timing is used. Post-event, free tea, coffee, cold drinks, and a tray bake are provided in the hall for all participants.
