NAV4 Daffodil Run & Walk

The NAV4 Daffodil Run & Walk takes place on Saturday 28th March 2026 and is open to walkers and runners. Registration, start and finish are at Pooley Bridge Memorial Hall. Electronic timing and monitoring will be used. Sensible hill kit is required and the organiser will issue a recommended kit list by email before the event. Free tea, coffee, cold drinks and a tray bake will be available in the hall after the walk or run.

Route and logistics

The full course is an out-and-back route to Hallin Fell via The Cockpit and Martindale Church. The surface is a mixture of trails and paths, some wet under foot, a short section of tarmac lane and the open slopes of Hallin Fell. The route is signposted with marshals at key points. There are two drinks stations on the route; each will be passed twice.

  • 13 miles full distance to Hallin Fell
  • 6 miles The Sitting Stone support/turn point
  • 10 miles Martindale Church support/turn point

Walkers and slower runners may turn back at the support points and return to Pooley Bridge Memorial Hall.

Entries and rules

There are solo and family entry options; family teams have a maximum size of six. Runners aged 14 to 18 may run in the runners' start if accompanied by an adult and must be entered as individual runners rather than as part of a family entry. There are discount arrangements for larger club or group entries. Final event information will be sent by email to entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
