Tibthorpe Loop
The Tibthorpe Loop is a circular trail half marathon through the Yorkshire Wolds on 28 February 2026. The route is described as easy to navigate and undulating but not technical, with approximately 1,200 ft of climb. The course follows the first nine miles of the Wold Rangers Way Ultra.
The event starts and finishes at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. The venue offers free on site parking, indoor cycle parking, eco friendly toilets and sanitary products. Food and drink are available to purchase at the Coffee Barn. Camping is available at the site and a discount applies for event entrants.
Navigation is supported with a provided GPX file and markers with large yellow correx signs at key junctions. There is one checkpoint about halfway offering vegan friendly and gluten free food and drink. Chip timing is used and results are published online after finishing. Event photography will be taken and photos are made available to download for free after the event.
The overall cut-off time is five hours and there are no checkpoint cut-off times. Medical cover and first aid support are present. Minimum age to take part is 18. Dogs are not permitted on the course but the venue is dog friendly for spectators. A hand made plantable wildflower seed medal is awarded and £3 of each entry fee is donated to local charities, including route maintenance and community funds.
