Tibthorpe Loop

The Tibthorpe Loop is a trail half marathon held on 20 February 2027 in the Yorkshire Wolds. The route is described as easy to navigate, undulating but not technical. The event starts and finishes at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe, Driffield (YO25 9JZ), and has a five hour cut-off time.

Navigation is supported by a provided GPX file and additional on-course markers and large yellow correx signs at key junctions. On-course support includes first aid medical cover and one checkpoint stocked with vegan friendly and gluten free nutrition.

Facilities at the venue include toilet facilities at the start and finish, free parking, indoor cycle parking and discounted camping. Chip timing is provided and participants receive a wildflower seed medal, a downloadable certificate and event photography. The organiser will plant one tree and £3 from each entry fee is donated to local charities.

Entries open on 29 March 2026 and close on 14 February 2027. Entries are capped at 300 participants; the event lists entry fees of £19 for affiliated entrants and £21 for non-affiliated entrants. Trail runs nearby

A 3.6 km off-road trail around the grounds of Sledmere House presented alongside the Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K. Chip timing and a finisher medal are provided; a free 500 m fun run is available for young children.

A backyard-style ultramarathon in Dalby Forest on 6 June 2026 with up to ten 5.5 km loops (55 km total); the event raises funds for the Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue team and includes two nights' camping.
