Tibthorpe Loop

The Tibthorpe Loop is a trail half marathon set in the scenic Yorkshire Wolds. The course covers a distance of 14 miles and is described as undulating but not technical, making it manageable for those new to trail running. The event follows a circular route that starts and finishes at the Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe.

The event features a total climb of 1,200 ft and includes one checkpoint at the halfway point. For navigation, the route is marked with yellow tape and yellow signs at key junctions, and GPX files are provided for participants. There is a 5-hour cut-off time, which allows for a pace of approximately 3 miles per hour.

Participants receive several benefits as part of their entry:

  • 14 miles
  • Wildflower seed medal
  • One tree planted per runner
  • Chip timing and live results
  • Free downloadable event photography
