Tibthorpe Loop

The Tibthorpe Loop is an easy to navigate, undulating but not technical trail half marathon through the Yorkshire Wolds. The route begins and ends at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe and uses local trails and lanes. A five hour cut-off applies.

Participants receive a GPX file for navigation. Organisers will add markers and large yellow correx signs at key junctions. On-course support includes first aid and one fully stocked checkpoint with vegan friendly and gluten free options.

Facilities at the venue include toilet facilities, free parking, indoor cycle parking and discounted camping. Event services include chip timing, event photography, a downloadable finishing certificate and a wildflower seed medal. One tree will be planted as part of the event and £3 from each entry is donated to local charities. Recycling collection schemes are in place at registration.

Entry is open to people aged 18 or older. Entries are capped at 300 participants. Entry fees are listed as £19 for affiliated runners and £21 for non affiliated runners. A circa 37 mile self-navigated ultra from Goathland visiting five Triangulation Pillars, open to solo participants or pairs. Competitors follow public rights of way, visit checkpoints in order and must carry mandatory navigation and safety..

Experience a 50 km circular ultra trail through the scenic dry valleys and villages of the Yorkshire Wolds with full checkpoint support and live GPS tracking.

Run through the North York Moors at the Heartbeat Hobble in Goathland, an 11.9 km fell with 290 m of climb. Entry on the day and a village hall finish create a friendly spring fell outing.

A guided 22 mile trail run around Pickering through wooded valleys and open moorland. Small groups of up to six runners move at a social pace with village drinks stops and an optional post run drink and local food.
