Ultra Trails - Tibthorpe Loop takes place on 28 February 2026. The event is a half marathon trail run on an undulating but not technical route through the Yorkshire Wolds. A five hour cut-off time applies. The event is organised by Ultra Trails and uses Field House Camping & Coffee Barn at Field House Farm, Tibthorpe, Driffield, YO25 9JZ, as the start and finish location.

Entries, eligibility and fees

Entries opened on 9 March 2025 and closed on 1 February 2026. The event is currently full and new applicants are placed on a waiting list; no payment is required while on the waiting list and the organiser will invite waiting-list entrants to pay if places become available. Entries so far: 318 participants, with 9 on the waiting list. Minimum age is 18 or older. Entry fees listed are £17 (affiliated) and £19 (non-affiliated); £3 from each entry goes to local charities.

Logistics and included services

The venue offers free parking, toilet facilities, indoor cycle parking and discounted camping. Navigation support includes a provided GPX file plus markers and large yellow correx signs at key junctions. On-course support includes first aid and one checkpoint stocked with vegan-friendly and gluten-free nutrition. The event provides chip timing, a wildflower seed medal, one tree planted per event, event photography and recycling collection at registration. The Hardwolds 80 is an 80 mile trail along the Wolds Way from Hessle to Filey, passing chalk valleys, wildlife areas and quaint villages. Tackle the course in 24 hours for a scenic, spirited test and a finisher medal and T shirt.
