An eight hour looped running event at Heaton Park where participants repeat a 5.6 km course of park road and woodland, use a single aid station and may enter Saturday, Sunday or both days with combined weekend results.

A 32 mile mostly traffic free urban loop around the Black Country, starting and finishing at Baggeridge Country Park on 21 March 2027. The route uses disused railway lines and canal towpaths and can be entered solo pairs or teams of four.

The Heptonstall Fell Race will take place in Heptonstall on Sunday 21 March 2027. You can run 25 kilometers.

A 25 kilometre Category BL fell race around Heptonstall in the upper Calder Valley, featuring wooded valleys, upland pasture and moorland. It is a not-for-profit community event with FRA kit requirements and a £15 entry fee.

The Punk Panther Headtorch Half will take place in Otley on Tuesday 23 March 2027. You can run between 5 and 21 kilometers.

Night trail event around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs offering Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km options. Limited to 150 entrants; headtorch and mobile phone required; water available mid-race and at the finish.

A supported, well-marked 50 mile trail race from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail with six checkpoints, live GPS tracking and a 14 hour cut-off; the event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.

Yellow Belly 100 is a 100 mile looped ultramarathon on 27 March 2027 across the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB, with about 8000 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 36 hour cut off.

Peak Rail 7 pits runners against a steam hauled heritage train on the route from Rowsley South to Matlock Riverside and back. The course uses shared trails with marshals, on site parking, and post race photos and results published online.
