Roddlesworth Roller and Daffodil Doddle at Abbey Village

The event takes place at Abbey Village CP School on 8 March 2026 and raises funds for the Abbey Village Primary School PTA. Funds from earlier events were used to create a new school library.

Races

  • 9 km Roddlesworth Roller: scenic trail on good paths and roads around lakes and woodland.
  • 2.2 km Daffodil Doddle: fully off road junior and fun run. Limit 200 entries.

Both courses are fully marshalled and have first aid cover, with at least three first aid teams on duty across the courses. The Daffodil Doddle uses chip timing and all finishers receive a medal plus food and drink. Prizes are offered for the Roddlesworth Roller including the first three men and women overall, veteran categories and team prizes, and for the Daffodil Doddle including first to third male and female and team awards.

Practical details note limited parking at the school and alternative parking on nearby roads and car parks. For the Roddlesworth Roller trainers with good grip are recommended. For the Daffodil Doddle under 10s are advised to be accompanied by an adult. Race packs and numbers must be collected at the venue on the day. Entry options include online and on the day with associated fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
