Trail Running calendar near Forcett 2026-2027

Scenic trail routes around Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley on 14 November 2026 with 13, 20 and 35 mile options, checkpoint support, mandatory kit requirements and trackers provided for ultramarathon entrants.

Run, jog or walk the Yorkshire Weekend Saunter Series at Kirkstall on 14 November 2026 along the scenic Leeds Liverpool Canal. Finishers enjoy a jumble medal, hot food and a choice of beer or soft drink with entries online or on the day.

Tackle the sweeping slopes of Arnside Knott in the Dave Shinn Memorial Race, a testing 6 mile fell route with 333 m of climb. Enter on the day at Hollins Farm and enjoy cake, local camaraderie and stunning Lake District views.

A forest trail race in Meanwood covering 10.5 km with about 200 m of elevation. The course includes narrow, technical and muddy sections, a marshalled road crossing, on site facilities and complimentary soup for finishers.

A November fell race in Sunnyhurst Woods, Darwen, featuring a roughly 6 km course with 305 m of climb via Darwen Tower and the moors. Entry is via Si Entries, minimum age 14, with FRA and non member fees.

Tour of Pendle is an AL fell race from Barley Village Hall covering 27 km with 1473 m of ascent. Pre entry runs 1 August to 31 October, with a cap of 450 runners and mandatory mountain kit required.

A 5 km fell race in Litton, North Yorkshire, featuring about 362 m of ascent and a revised course from 2024. Junior races run at shorter distances, with registration and prizegiving at the Queens Arms and parking 300 m from the start.

A circular trail and fell race from Marsden Cricket Club of about 5.8 miles and 1026 ft of ascent across moorland and reservoirs. The event is UKA affiliated, requires basic trail kit and has trophy prizes by age category.

A late autumn two day trail weekend in Edale covering White Peak and Dark Peak with options of 43 km, 50 km or both days totalling 93 km. GPX files, course notes, on course refreshments, finishers medals and trophies are provided.

A fell race on 21 November 2026 at Sale Fell bench near Wythop Mill with a roughly 3.7 mile 5.9 km course, junior races for U9 to U15, and prizes across senior and veteran categories.

Join the Padfield Plum Fair Scamper on Sun 22 Nov 2026 for an 8.8 km fell race around Padfield in the Peak District, featuring 320 m of climb and stunning views. Open to runners aged 16+, with pre and on the day entries and limited parking.

The Black Night Scar fell race lights up the South West Pennines on 24 Nov 2026 from Todmorden, a punchy 5.8 km course with 315 m of climb under headtorches. Entries available pre entry or on the day with teams of three welcome.

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

A team relay at Lee Mill Quarry on 29 November 2026 where teams of four each run a flagged 10.7 km loop with about 340 m of climb. Mandatory winter kit is required and entries are limited to 120 teams.

Trail marathon, half marathon and 10km across Dalby Forest on forest fire roads with live chip timing. Canicross friendly rules apply and finishers receive a bespoke medal, merchandise and refreshments.

Tackle the Famous Grouse Fell Race in Birch Vale on 29 Nov 2026, a spirited 8.4 km Peak District route with plenty of climb. Entry is on the day, register at the Sycamore Inn and enjoy results and prize giving at the pub.
