Course and format

The routes tour around Whinlatter Top and use quieter parts of the forest. Both options run mainly on wide forest tracks with no technical ground, and include some undulating sections. The event is chip timed and the course will be marked. GPX files for the routes are available to download.

Dogs are allowed; they must be run on a suitable harness. Borrowable kit from a dog equipment provider is available. Competitors may also run without dogs.
