Course and Terrain

The CBTE The Charm Bracelet 10k is a 10 km (7.4 mile) trail running event. The course features 890 ft of elevation and is described as an out-and-back route.

The route starts and finishes in the fishing village of Skinningrove. Participants ascend onto cliffs, follow the Cleveland Way to the Charm Bracelet sculpture, descend into Saltburn, complete a small loop, and return along the Cleveland Way to Skinningrove.

Event Details

The event takes place on Saturday, 11th April 2026. Registration opens in the morning at Skinningrove Community Centre.

The event is open to runners and walkers aged 15 and over. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

The standard entry fee is £30. The fee includes a finisher's medal, and water and snacks are available at a checkpoint in Saltburn. Participants can optionally purchase a t-shirt or choose to plant a tree instead through the Trees Not Tees initiative.

Trophies are awarded for the first male, first female, and first non-binary finishers, as well as for the first under-18 finishers in male and female categories, and for the first finishers in various veteran age categories (FV50, FV60, FV70, MV50, MV60, MV70).

Logistics and Cut-off

The event has a cut-off guide time of 1:00 PM at the Skinningrove Community Centre, providing approximately 2.5 hours to complete the course. Tail runners will be present.

A marshalled checkpoint with water and snacks, including vegan and gluten-free options, will be located in Saltburn. First aid and insurance are provided.
