CBTE The Charm Bracelet 10k

The CBTE The Charm Bracelet 10k is a trail running and walking event located on the North East coastline of the United Kingdom. Despite its name, the route covers a distance of 7.4 miles, providing what the organizers describe as a bonus mile beyond the standard 10k distance. The course includes 890 feet of total elevation gain.

Participants begin at the Skinningrove Community Centre in the fishing village of Skinningrove. The route ascends onto the cliffs and follows the Cleveland Way trail to the Charm Bracelet landmark. From there, the path descends into Saltburn, where the course performs a small loop before returning via the Cleveland Way to the finish line in Skinningrove.

A checkpoint is located in Saltburn, providing water and snacks for those on the course. The event is open to participants aged 15 or older and is accessible to both runners and walkers, with a total time limit of 2.5 hours to complete the distance.

Registration includes:

  • A finisher's medal
  • Water and snacks at the Saltburn checkpoint
  • Eligibility for categorical trophies

Trophies are awarded to the first male, female, and non-binary finishers. Recognition is also provided for the first male and female participants in the Under 18 category, as well as the top finishers in the V50, V60, and V70 age brackets for both men and women.
