Trail Running calendar near Emersons Green 2026-2027

The FOOBS Trail and Fun Runs return in October. Choose from a chip timed 10K, 6K, or a family friendly 2K fun run through the countryside near Old Basing. The event supports local schools through community fundraising.

MacTuffX Swindon on 11 October 2026 combines ten Xercises with repeated runs at County Ground, Swindon. Entries are for ages 18 and over, with solo, doubles and relay options and separate LITE weights.

A new fell race on the Cat's Back ridge in the Black Mountains covering about 11.7 km with 492 m ascent. The partly marked, rocky route requires full kit and appropriate fell shoes and is open to runners aged 16 and over.

Keynsham Dandy is an off road 12.5 mile race in October organised by Town and Country Harriers with race HQ at The New Inn in Keynsham. The route includes the revived Compton Dando section which crosses a stream.

Experience the ancient landscapes of the Wyre Forest in this autumn trail run featuring 13 mile and 7.6 mile routes. Participants enjoy marshalled woodland trails with full race timing and finishers medals.

Trail races at Oxwich Bay with a self-navigated half marathon plus marked 10k and 5k routes. The event is postponed and a new date will be announced.

Cross-country race in Hardwick, Buckinghamshire on 18 October 2026, run over about 6 miles of off road terrain with water crossings and varied surfaces. Entries are limited to 300 and participants must be at least 17 years old.
