The Hardwick X-Stream takes place on 22 March 2026 in the village of Hardwick, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The event is limited to 300 runners and is organised by Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club. The course is set entirely within Manor House Farm and is licensed as an EA cross-country event (permit approved, number pending).

Course and facilities

The off-road course is approximately 6 miles long and follows an undulating route. Terrain includes grassland, ploughed fields, farm track, streams and ditches. The depth of the stream can vary with weather and clothing may get wet; the course may be altered if stream flow requires it. The route will be clearly marked and marshalled. The course is suitable for spikes. Parking adjacent to the start/finish is weather dependent and very limited. Portable toilets and limited changing facilities are available in the village hall; there are no showers. Water will be provided at the finish, and hot drinks and food will be available in the village hall.

Entries, prizes and rules

Entries are capped at 300. Standard entry is listed at £22, with lower early-bird rates available before early January 2026 and an on-the-day fee of £24 if places remain. Refunds, transfers and deferrals are not permitted. Minimum age: 17 years old before 1 September 2025. First aid cover will be provided; runners take part at their own risk. All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded in multiple male and female age categories and for first male and female teams. Riverside races at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club near historic Runnymede. Marathon, half marathon and 10 km run on flat out and back laps along the Thames with marked turnarounds, check points and chip timing.
