The 31st Hardwick X-Stream 2026

The event takes place on 18 October 2026 in Hardwick, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, with race headquarters at John Bridles Village Hall (HP22 4DZ). The course is set entirely on private farmland within Manor House Farm and covers approximately 6 miles of off‑road terrain.

The route follows an undulating line across grassland, ploughed fields and farm track, and includes streams and ditches with water crossings. Stream depth varies with weather and clothing may get wet; the course may be altered depending on stream flow. The route will be clearly marked and marshalled and is suitable for use with spikes.

Entries are limited to 300 runners and a minimum age of 17 applies on the day. The event holds an EA cross country licence permit that is approved pending confirmation of number. Organised and hosted by Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club.

Facilities are weather dependent. Parking is limited and available adjacent to the start area; car sharing is recommended and residents access should not be obstructed. Portable toilets and limited changing facilities are provided in the village hall; there are no showers. Water will be available at the finish and hot drinks and food will be offered in the hall.

First aid cover will be provided. Participants take part at their own risk and are advised to ensure tetanus inoculation is current. If the organiser cancels the event a full refund will be issued to the original payment method; generally refunds, transfers and deferrals are not permitted.

Prizes and finishers mementos will be awarded, including individual male and female placings across age categories and team prizes for affiliated teams meeting entry criteria. Results will be published after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
