Event overview
The Hardwick X-Stream takes place on 22 March 2026 and is organised and hosted by Bearbrook Running & Triathlon Club. Entries are limited to 300 runners and a minimum age requirement applies (17 years old before 1 September 2025). Refunds, transfers and deferrals are not offered. The event holds an EA cross-country licence permit that is approved and awaiting confirmation of the permit number.
Course, facilities and competition
The race is completely off road and follows an undulating route of approximately 6 miles within Manor House Farm in Hardwick, Buckinghamshire. Terrain includes grassland, ploughed fields, farm track, streams and ditches. The course may be changed depending on stream flow, and runners should be prepared to get wet. The route will be clearly marked and marshalled, and it is suitable for spikes.
Parking is limited and weather dependent. Portable toilets and limited changing facilities are available at the village hall; there are no showers. Water will be provided at the finish and hot drinks and food will be available in the village hall. First aid cover is provided and runners are advised to check tetanus inoculation status.
All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded for top male and female finishers and in specified age categories, plus first male and female teams. Team entries must be affiliated and provide a URN, with teams of at least four scored on the first four finishers. Results will be posted on the Bearbrook Running Club website.
