The Hardwick X-Stream is an off-road running event hosted by the Bearbrook Running and Triathlon Club. The course covers approximately 6 miles of undulating countryside within Manor House Farm in the village of Hardwick, Buckinghamshire. The route consists of varied terrain including grassland, ploughed fields, farm tracks, streams, and ditches. Participants should be prepared for water crossings, as the depth of the streams varies depending on weather conditions.
The event is held under a UK Athletics license and follows cross-country rules, which prohibit the use of headphones, audio devices, or mobile phones during the race. Registration is limited to 300 runners, and participants must be at least 17 years old before September 1, 2025.
Race headquarters are located at John Bridle's Village Hall. Facilities at the site include portable toilets and limited changing areas, though no showers are available. Entry includes a finisher's memento, and water is provided at the finish line. Results are recorded for individual and team categories, with prizes awarded to top finishers in various age brackets ranging from under 20 to over 70.
