The 31st Hardwick X-Stream 2026

The Hardwick X-Stream is the 31st running of an off road cross country race held on 18 October 2026 within Manor House Farm in Hardwick village, Buckinghamshire. The course covers approximately 6 miles of undulating countryside and is routed entirely off road.

The route includes grassland, ploughed fields, farm track, streams and ditches. Water crossings are part of the course and stream depth can vary with weather, so clothing may get wet and the course may be altered depending on stream flow. There is a length of farm track and the course is suitable for spikes. The route will be clearly marked and marshalled.

Entries are limited to 300 runners and a minimum age of 17 applies on the day of the race. Race numbers are collected from Race HQ at John Bridles Village Hall in Hardwick. Parking is limited and weather dependant; parking is available adjacent to the start and finish area. Portable toilets and limited changing facilities are provided in the village hall; there are no showers. Water is available at the finish and hot drinks and food will be offered in the village hall.

First aid cover will be provided. All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded across multiple male and female age categories and for first male and female teams. Team entries require affiliation and a URN and consist of at least four runners. Results will be posted on the organising club website. Refunds, transfers and deferrals are not permitted except that a full refund will be issued if the organiser cancels the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
