RTT Gower Trail Half Marathon

Oxwich, United Kingdom • 11 Apr 2026

Event overview

The RTT Gower Trail event is part of the 2026 Run The Trails Series and is hosted on the Gower Peninsula at Oxwich Bay, Swansea, Wales (SA3 1LS). The event offers three distances:

  • Half Marathon
  • 10 km
  • 5 km

Entries include a finisher's medal, chip timing, event facilities, water stations and checkpoints, and self-navigation routes. The half marathon is a fully self-navigated route with checkpoints along the course. The 10 km and 5 km routes will be signed.

Route and logistics

Routes use multiple terrains, including coastal paths, woodland trails and sand dunes. Because this is a complex trail run, participants are expected to know the course. The race starts from Oxwich Bay and parking is available in the designated Oxwich Car Park. Parking cost is not included in the ticket; the listed cost is £7 per car, with higher charges possible for larger vehicles, and payment is by cash to the car park attendant. Marshals and signage will be present to direct participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
