Trail Running calendar near Buxton 2026-2027

Bingley Rock up n' Run is a 5 km and 10 km event at 5 Rise Locks in Bingley on 4 June 2026. It is organized by Its Grim Up North Running with modest entry fees and participant feedback on route signage and finish treats.

A five mile hilly fell race around Kettlewell with grassy tracks, climbs and fast descents. Entry is limited to 100 and fees are £6 for EA affiliated runners and £8 for non affiliated runners.

Challenge the South West Pennines at the Leo Pollard Memorial Race in Rivington, an 8.5 km fell course with 335 m of climb, held around Rivington Hall Barn. Entry on the day; proceeds support Bolton Mountain Rescue.

Deestriders ORGP Race 1 is a multi terrain, approximately four mile race on 4 June 2026 at Care & Repair NE Wales in Shotton. Entry is £10 or £8 for affiliated club members and the field is limited to 200.

Trail races from about 16 km to 50 km around Otley with marked routes, checkpoints, a 50 km relay for teams of four, mandatory kit requirements, and parking at Station Top.

A 24 hour, 50 miles linear route from Marsden to Ilkley with over 6600 ft of ascent. The course visits six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems by Simon Armitage and crosses South Pennines moorland including Haworth and Ilkley Moor.

Inflatable 5K in Lincoln is an inflatable obstacle fun run at Lincoln Showground on 6 June 2026, with 2.5 km laps and options up to 15 km, music zones, a finisher's medal and on-site food and drink.

A themed fundraising run offering 8 miles, 16 miles and a marathon on a route from The Unicorn Inn through the Silkin Way and across Ironbridge; fancy dress is encouraged.

The National Forest Way Ultra will take place in Burton upon Trent on Saturday 6 June 2026.

Pen Y Ghent Fell Race on 6 June 2026 is the first event in the Yorkshire Dales Classics series. The AM mountain course covers 12.2 km with 500 m of ascent and is run under FRA rules with mandatory kit and a 350 runner limit.

A flagged 13.2 mile trail race on 6 June 2026 around Threshfield in the Yorkshire Dales, featuring over 2,000 feet of ascent and more than £800 in prizes. The event follows established footpaths and uses SPORTident timing.

A 50 mile linear ultramarathon across the South Pennines from Marsden to Ilkley that visits six carved Stanza Stones and passes through Haworth. The route features high moorland and valley sections with live tracking and indoor checkpoints.

MacTuffX Sutton Coldfield on 6 June 2026 pairs ten functional fitness Xercises with repeated runs and offers Solo, Doubles and five person Relay categories. A LITE weight division is available and all entrants must be 18 or older.

Trail running at The Green Man at Inglewhite on 6 June 2026 offering 15K and 10K routes with chip timing, marked course, aid stations, medical cover and finishers' medal and technical t-shirt.

A fell race in the York. Dales on Sat 6 Jun 2026 at Letcliffe Park, Barnoldswick. The course is 8.8 km with 550 m climb, allows day entry (£7), teams of three, and carries an FRA permit with UK Athletics insurance.

A BOFRA fell race in Kettlewell on 7 June 2026, featuring a short steep climb to a skyline cairn followed by a fast descent with a brief scree section. Parking and registration are on the cricket field.

Take on the Passing Clouds fell race in the Peak District on Sun 7 Jun 2026, a scenic but testing 15.7 km trail with 565 m of climb around Tittesworth Reservoir. Entry on the day from £9 for members, parking charges apply.
