Leeds Pretty Muddy 5k

Leeds Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle event at Temple Newsam on Saturday 11 Jul 2026. The course is a single lap over grass and surfaced paths, with varying elevations and a slight hill at the start and finish. Participants climb, crawl and slide around a sequence of obstacles; marshals are on hand and anyone may skip an obstacle and continue to the next.

The event is open to people aged 13 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Entry prices listed for the event are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. Start waves are staggered every 15 minutes so groups should book the same wave to start together.

The meeting point is on the field in front of Temple Newsam House, adjacent to the Courtyard and Animal Farm. Vehicle access to event parking is via Temple Newsam Road; pedestrians can also use an entrance on Temple Newsam Road. The nearest train station is Cross Gates, approximately 1.9 miles from the venue. Cycle stands and lockers are available near the Walled Garden, Farm Car Park and Stable Courtyard.

Available on site are refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not recommended. Sunflower wristbands and a BSL stage content QR code are provided to support accessibility.

Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and a Race for Life finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
