Race for Life Pretty Muddy Leeds is a 5k obstacle event taking place at Temple Newsam. The course is a single lap over a mix of grass and surfaced paths with varying elevations. The start and finish are on grass and sit on a slight hill. The route includes obstacles to climb, crawl and slide.

The event is held on the grounds of Temple Newsam. The meeting point is the field in front of Temple Newsam House, adjacent to the Courtyard and Animal Farm. General event parking is accessed via Temple Newsam Road; the route from that entrance to the event site is approximately 300 m on paths and grass sloping downhill. Blue badge parking, drop-off monitoring and volunteer parking are available in the same area. Cycle stands are at the Walled Garden and Farm Car Park and there are cycle lockers in the Stable Courtyard. The nearest train station is Cross Gates, about 1.9 miles from the venue.

Entry fees shown are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Herod Farm Fell Race is a classic mid-week fell run. The course covers 3 miles with 1,100ft of ascent. Race HQ at Jubilee House offers parking, toilets, and post-race refreshments.

A 137 km trail challenge on the Pennine Bridleway with a 50 hour cut-off, indoor checkpoints, bunkroom accommodation and GPX navigation support. Entry is limited to 20 participants and total ascent is 3275 m.
