Birmingham Pretty Muddy 5k at Cofton Park

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held on grass at Cofton Park, Low Hill Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham B31 2BQ. The course surface is all on grass, with some flat sections and hilly parts. The start and finish areas are on grass and a short walk from the on-site car parking area.

Participants move through a series of obstacles that involve climbing, crawling and sliding. Waves start every 15 minutes to manage flow on the course; marshals are present and can assist if a participant needs to skip an obstacle. Minimum age to take part is 13 years. There is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids offering for children aged 12 and under.

Practical information includes event parking on grass a short walk from the site, a regular bus service No 47 from Birmingham city centre, and Longbridge train station approximately 1.5 miles away. There are no electric charging points, no cycle racks, and no designated drop off area. Blue badge holders will be directed to the nearest suitable space, but no official blue badge bays are provided.

Facilities listed as available include refreshments and toilets. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Minimum fundraising target is £50. Trail runs nearby

An evening **10km** trail around Milford Common and Cannock Chase with basic route arrows, a published GPX file and chip timing. No medals are given; profits go to Muscular Dystrophy and a post-race drink is provided.

A park and riverside 5 km or 10 km race at The Valley, Evesham on 24 June 2026, with on-site registration at BCM Craft Ale Taproom, limited places, and series entry available until 1 May 2026.

A multi-lap running event at Chasewater Visitor Centre with distance options from 5k to marathon, relatively flat 5K laps, park facilities and aid stations; finishers receive a medal and possibly a Snickers bar.

A point-to-point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham, run in seeded time trial waves. The course features a 360 metre tunnel and floating drink stations on canal barges every three miles.
