Birmingham Pretty Muddy 5k

The Birmingham Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle-style 5k at Cofton Park, Low Hill Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham (B31 2BQ) on Saturday 11 July 2026. The course is entirely on grass; start and finish areas are on grass a short walk from the on-site car parking.

Participants climb, crawl and slide around a series of muddy obstacles. The course includes some flat areas but is hilly in parts. Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes; groups should take part in the same wave.

The event is for people aged 13 and over. Pretty Muddy Kids events are available separately for children aged 12 and under. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to seek their doctor’s advice before taking part.

On-site facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. There are no electric charging points, no bike racks and no designated drop-off area. Pedestrian access is limited; a regular bus service (No 47) serves the area and the nearest train station is Longbridge, about 1.5 miles away. Car parking is on grass; blue badge holders will be directed to the nearest available space but there are no official hard-surfaced blue badge spaces. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands are available at enquiries and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.

Entry prices and fundraising information are set for the event; participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training materials, community support access and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
