Shropshire Multi-Distance Road and Trail Run

The Ludlow10 event takes place in the town of Ludlow and the surrounding Shropshire countryside. The event features three distinct distances that utilize a combination of quiet paved lanes and off-road sections.

  • Half Marathon (minimum age 17)
  • 10 km (minimum age 15)
  • 5 km (minimum age 11)

Participants navigate undulating ground with specific climbs and descents throughout the courses. All race distances include a section through the Whitcliffe Common area. This part of the route features natural terrain and significant uphill segments, including an ascent known as the Donkey Steps.

The event base is located at the Ludlow Rugby Club on Linney. All routes follow the same final path around Whitcliffe Common before heading toward the finish line. The course is designed to feature local landmarks and explores the narrow, hilly roads characteristic of the Shropshire area.

Registration is handled through a pre-entry system, with the event scheduled for mid-July. Mandatory age requirements apply to each distance, starting from 11 years old for the shortest route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
