Intergalactic is a trail running festival at Hurn Forest on 28 March 2026 offering routes from a 5K up to ultra distances, with aid stations and medals for all finishers. Twenty percent of entry fees support Forestry England.

A 32 mile urban loop from Baggeridge Country Park on 29 March 2026, offered as solo, pair or team of 4 relay. The mostly traffic-free route includes long tunnels, canal towpaths, three aid checkpoints and a GPX route file.

April 2026

Testway Ultra on 04/04/2026 invites runners to tackle scenic 40 or 50 mile routes along Hampshire's Testway from Linkenholt to Totton. Well marked trails, regular aid stations and a shuttle make for a friendly, memorable ultra.

Run the inaugural BOWUM, a 30 mile circular trail from Monmouth that links Skenfrith, Grosmont and White Castle through Monmouthshire countryside. Mostly trails, staffed checkpoints and crew support make this a scenic, supported adventure.

A two-lap, mostly off road 10 km from Mortimer Fairground, set on woodland footpaths and bridleways. A dog-friendly canicross option runs the same distance; the event features chip timing, photos, medals and on-site facilities.

A multi-terrain single lap of about 8 miles with 900 feet of ascent around Freshwater and Alum Bay, based at West Wight Sports Centre; limited entries and age 16 minimum.

Trail running event from Minehead using a steam train to the start points. Distances include **11 km**, **11 miles** and a full marathon returning to Minehead across the Quantock Hills and coastal paths.

A riverside trail event at Temple Island Meadows on 11 April 2026 offering a half marathon, 10K and junior out-and-back race with chip timing, marked kilometres, medals and post-race goodies.

Three point to point trail races on 11 April 2026 along the Vale of Glamorgan coast, including a 32.5 miles ultra and 18.5 and 10 miles options. Routes follow the Wales Coast Path with marked navigation, checkpoints and event bus transport.

The Big Cheese is an off road fell race in Cheddar, Somerset, covering 15 miles across the Mendip Hills with over 2,000 ft of climb. Take on a fully marked course and enjoy a finisher's medal plus tea and cake at the end.
