The Bell Plod

The Bell Plod is a one-lap fun trail run held on farmland at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH. The course is undulating and uses fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. The event is described as a fun and relaxed trail atmosphere.

Entry is open to people aged 4 years and over. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult; adults may accompany older children. The organiser provides tails to stay with the field so no participant is left behind.

The Bell Plod runs alongside the Bumble Plod; the two events differ only in which finishers receive which medal. The event has a maximum of 64 entrants and entries close on 16/07/2026. There is an option to camp on the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026. Participants are informed that the route is entirely on privately owned land and permission has been granted by the landowner. The ONER is an 85-mile (circa 140 km) continuous coastal ultramarathon along the Jurassic Coast with a 30-hour cutoff. The route runs from near Charmouth to Shell Bay, Studland, and includes a full circumnavigation of Portland.

A 13.1 mile coastal half marathon around the Isle of Portland on 6 June 2026, featuring exposed clifftop sections and mixed terrain. The event includes GPS tracking, a checkpoint at Portland Bill and compulsory safety kit.

Water themed trail running on the Isle of Purbeck with four single lap distances from half marathon to 54k. Routes run along coastal cliffs and Purbeck hills and include well stocked aid stations and GPX navigation advice.

A midweek *10 km* trail race at Moors Valley Country Park on 10 June 2026, set on shaded forest trails with chip timing, aid stations, a finishers medal and eco friendly event practices. Canicross options available.
