The Bell Plod

The Bell Plod is a trail fun run taking place on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH. The event is organised by Running Events Devon and is held on privately owned farmland, with running on and through fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks.

The event is described as an undulating trail with a one lap course. Participants who complete the lap can collect finish goodies. The Bell Plod runs at the same time as the Bumble Plod and the only stated difference between the two events is which finish medal is awarded.

Entry is limited to 64 places. The published entry closing date is 16/07/2026. A minimum age of 4 years is suggested and children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult; adults may accompany older children if they wish. An option for camping over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026 is mentioned as part of the wider event arrangements.

The Bell Plod is listed alongside several other weekend events organised at the same venue, including shorter and longer timed challenges and a roughly 10 km Apple Plod. The event is run entirely on private farmland by permission of the landowner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
