The Cider Challenge SOLO : 18 July 2026

The Cider Challenge SOLO is a solo entry option of the Cider Challenge held on 18 July 2026. The event is a 12 hour timed trail challenge on privately owned farmland. The course is undulating and includes fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks.

Entrants may run or walk and can complete as many laps as they wish within the 12 hour limit. Completion of a single lap qualifies a participant to collect event goodies; all finishers who complete laps within the permitted time are eligible to receive a medal and event goodies.

The event sets a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum number of entrants of 204. Entries close on 16 July 2026. There is an option for camping over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026.

An obstacle 5k at Baiter Park in Poole on 30 May 2026, the Pretty Muddy event combines climbing, crawling and sliding while raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older.

Midweek chip timed trail races at the Blue Pool nature reserve in Dorset with 7 mile and 3 mile routes through woodland and ridge views. Race entry includes access for one adult and up to two children.

A 140 km coastal endurance run along the Jurassic Coast from near Charmouth to Shell Bay in Studland. Around 100 participants follow a route including a full circumnavigation of Portland with checkpoint support roughly every 10 km.

Water themed trail running on the Isle of Purbeck with four single lap distances from half marathon to 54k. Routes run along coastal cliffs and Purbeck hills and include well stocked aid stations and GPX navigation advice.
