The Bumble Plod : Myncen Farm, 19 July 2026

The Bumble Plod is a one-lap fun run set on farm trails at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH on 19 July 2026. The course is described as undulating trail and takes participants across fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks on privately owned farmland.

The event is open to people aged 4 years and over; children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Entrants complete a single lap to claim their finish goodies. The Bumble Plod runs alongside the Bell Plod on the same day; the events differ only in the finish medal supplied.

Entry is limited to 100 participants and entries close on 16 July 2026. The stated entry fee for The Bumble Plod is ten pounds. There is an option for camping over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026 as part of the broader event weekend.

The ONER is an 85-mile (circa 140 km) continuous coastal ultramarathon along the Jurassic Coast with a 30-hour cutoff. The route runs from near Charmouth to Shell Bay, Studland, and includes a full circumnavigation of Portland.

A 13.1 mile coastal half marathon around the Isle of Portland on 6 June 2026, featuring exposed clifftop sections and mixed terrain. The event includes GPS tracking, a checkpoint at Portland Bill and compulsory safety kit.

Water themed trail running on the Isle of Purbeck with four single lap distances from half marathon to 54k. Routes run along coastal cliffs and Purbeck hills and include well stocked aid stations and GPX navigation advice.

A midweek *10 km* trail race at Moors Valley Country Park on 10 June 2026, set on shaded forest trails with chip timing, aid stations, a finishers medal and eco friendly event practices. Canicross options available.
