Running Events Devon organises The Bumble Plod on Sunday 19 July 2026 with an option to camp over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026. The event is held on private farmland at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH.

The event is described as a fun run on an undulating trail. The course is one lap and runs across fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. Participants who complete the lap receive event goodies. The Bumble Plod is held on the same day as the Bell Plod; the stated difference between the two events is which medal is awarded at the finish.

Entry details provided include a maximum of 100 entrants, an entry fee of £10 for The Bumble Plod, and an entries close date of 16 July 2026. Minimum suggested age is 4 years and children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. Tail runners accompany the course to support participants.

The weekend programme includes a Friday 5k-ish event, a 12 hour night and a 24 hour event, Saturday 12 hour and 8 hour challenges, and other Sunday events such as the Bell Plod and the Apple Plod of approximately 10 km. A family friendly off-road event near Damerham with 5 km and 10 km runs plus a children's colour run; medals, category trophies, refreshments and on-site parking are provided.

An evening trail event on 4 July 2026 based at the Fox Inn in Ansty, Dorchester with a 10k course and 220 m of elevation, venue music and food, accommodation options, finisher medals and trophies to third place male and female.

Trail races of 5, 10 and 15 miles take place in Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset on 5 July 2026. The event includes chip timing, feed stations, medical support and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 50 km trail race from Studland Beach along the Purbeck Way that passes coastal landmarks like Old Harry Rocks and Corfe Castle. One runner is appointed the Ferry who starts at the back and competitors aim to finish ahead of them.
