Trail Running calendar near Allendale Town 2026-2027

A new half marathon at Grizedale Forest on 7 March 2027 featuring marked, chip-timed trails, views over Coniston Water, no cut-offs, and the option to run with up to two dogs.

A 31.7 mile off road fell race around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge with about 1615 m of climb. It crosses remote moorland, requires FRA mandatory kit and navigation skills, and raises funds for local charities.

Trail races from 13 to 50 miles around the Welcome Way near Otley, featuring moorland views, checkpoints, trackers and a mandatory kit list.

The Lakeland Trails Leighton Hall will take place in Silverdale on Saturday 13 March 2027. You can run between 10 and 21 kilometers.

A 100 km point to point mountain ultra across the Lake District from St Bees to Shap, following Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route with checkpoints and live tracking.

Approximately 160 km Coast to Coast mountain ultra from Patterdale to The Lion Inn across Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors with a 60 hour cut-off.

A fully waymarked 20 kilometres trail race around Buttermere and Crummock Water with varied lakeshore, rocky and woodland terrain. Entry is limited, minimum age 17, and the event is organised under a Trail Running Association licence pendin..

Night time head torch trail runs around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs with half marathon, 10km and 5km options, limited to 150 entrants and medals for finishers.
