Community Traverse - Moors 100

The Moors 100 Miler is a point to point mountain ultra covering approximately 160 kilometres from Patterdale in the Lake District to The Lion Inn in the North York Moors. The route follows sections of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast and passes mountain passes, rolling dales, remote valleys, historic market towns, open farmland, and expansive moorland.

The event includes a generous 60 hour cut off and is intended for participants who are trained and prepared for sustained mountain and moorland travel. A mandatory kit list applies and final route information, including a GPX file, will be issued before the event. Live tracking is in place for all participants and trackers must be returned at the finish or when withdrawing. Participants who withdraw must inform Race Control and report to the nearest checkpoint.

Checkpoint locations include Shap, Kirkby Stephen, Richmond, Ingleby Cross Village Hall, and The Lion Inn. Checkpoints provide water and hot food with vegan and gluten free options, snacks and race nutrition, indoor access, toilet facilities, and first aid support.

The event is registered with the International Trail Running Association and finishers earn ITRA endurance points. Organizer: Community Traverse. Entry fee listed as £135. Minimum age 20 or older. Entries open 18 June 2026 and close 1 March 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
