July 2026

A backyard ultra on Portlands Back Cove Trail where runners complete about 4.17 mile loops each hour until one runner remains. The mostly flat gravel course runs along a tidal estuary and includes staffed and unstaffed aid stations.

A two lap, 9 mile trail race on Bradbury Mountain State Park featuring hilly technical single track and a three hour cutoff. The field is limited to 160 runners and the event is part of the Bradbury Mountain Trail Race Series.

An overnight team relay across coastal Maine from Ellsworth to Eastport covering 102.7 miles. Teams of four to eight run legs ranging from just under 4 miles to just over 10 miles on trails and coastal roads.

Tough Mountain Challenge is a 5K obstacle-course event at Sunday River Resort on July 25, 2026, with multiple waves over the day. The course runs on ski trails and wooded terrain and includes custom-built obstacles and muddy sections.

Scribners Mill 5k is a trail race in Harrison, Maine that follows woods and river views through the Crooked River Forest. Part of the Loon Echo Race Series, proceeds support Loon Echo Land Trust.

August 2026

Multi-distance trail event on Blue Hill Mountain near the coast of Maine. Courses range from 5k to 50k with aid stations and drop bags for longer races, and proceeds benefit local conservation groups.

The event is cancelled. It had been planned as a 10K ruck obstacle course at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, featuring The Crucible with 20+ obstacles and prize rules requiring participants to ruck the full course with a pack.
