Kennebec Savings Bank East Bayside Trail Fest
The Kennebec Savings Bank East Bayside Trail Fest is a community event held on June 28, 2026 in the East Bayside neighborhood of Portland, Maine at 38 Diamond Street. The event is the second annual edition and brings together runners, cyclists, and walkers on local trails and streets.
There are three organized activities with distinct course options:
- Trail to Ale 10K: 10K
- Bayside Ride: 15 mile or 30 mile loops
- Trail Mix 2 Miler: 2 Miles
The Trail to Ale 10K course uses the Back Cove Trail, the Bayside Trail, and Payson Park and starts and finishes in East Bayside. The Bayside Ride offers a 15 mile loop that turns around at the Falmouth Town Landing and a 30 mile loop that turns around at Cousins Island in Yarmouth; both rides start and finish in East Bayside. The Trail Mix 2 Miler follows the Bayside Trail and the Eastern Prom Trail and also starts and finishes in East Bayside.
Registration fees and donations collected through the event support two local nonprofits, Portland Trails and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. The day includes a post-event gathering with music, food trucks, and local beer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
