The Six at the Springs is a timed endurance running event held in Poland, Maine, on June 20, 2026. The course uses a local rail trail.

The event features a single 4-mile loop course. The route starts at Waterhouse Brook near Lower Range Pond, travels to a turnaround in Mechanic Falls, and returns along the same trail. The course is described as flat, on a wide, hard-packed trail, passing multiple watersheds and a beaver pond. Participants can run as many loops as they wish within a six-hour time limit, with distances starting from 4 miles.

Participation Details

The event has multiple start times. The first start is at 8:00 AM, with additional start waves at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The six-hour clock for all participants stops at 2:00 PM. There is a dedicated youth entry category for participants aged 12 and under. Paid entries include an event shirt.

Recognition and Amenities
