Event Information

The Five Fields Farm Races take place in Bridgton, Maine at Five Fields Farm on 720 S Bridgton Rd. All proceeds benefit the Loon Echo Land Trust, a non-profit that conserves land in the Lakes Region.

Distances

The event offers two race distances:

  • 50K
  • 10K

The Courses

The 50K is a three-lap, figure-8 course that uses trails in the Bald Pate Preserve and Holt Pond Preserve. Each lap is a little over 10 miles and includes 1350 feet of elevation gain. The course features steep climbs, technical single-track, and long rolling terrain. Each lap finishes by going through the apple orchard at the farm. The route crosses some private property with landowner permission.

The 10K course winds through an ancient pitch pine forest and offers views of Foster Pond. It features technical single-track, steep climbs, and 1800 feet of elevation gain.

Aid Stations

For the 50K, there are two aid stations on the course plus the start/finish area. These provide water, Tailwind, gels, and various snacks. The start/finish will later offer a cookout.
